Privacy & your photos

florascape is a one-person studio. This page says exactly what happens to anything you send us — no legal padding.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form: your name, email, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number, suburb, notes about your space, and any photos you attach. We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies for tracking.

Where it goes

Enquiries are delivered to the owner's email inbox using Resend, an email service based in the United States. Your message and any attached photos pass through their systems to reach us.

If you use the mockup tool, there's one more step worth being clear about. While you're arranging plants and pots, everything happens inside your own browser and nothing is uploaded. When you press “Make it photoreal”, your arranged image is sent to us and to Google's Gemini image service, which produces the concept picture. That means your photo is processed on Google's servers, in the United States, under their terms.

Photos — please read this bit

Photos of your space are the most personal thing you'll send us, so:

  • Please avoid including identifiable people, house numbers, or your neighbours' property in the shot. You don't need them for a good mockup, and it keeps other people out of it.
  • Photos you send arrive as email attachments and stay in the owner's inbox unless you ask us to delete them.
  • We won't publish any photo of your space — before or after — without asking you first, and you can say no.

The concept images

Images produced by the mockup tool are generated concepts, not photographs of finished work. Plant sizes, colours and placement are indicative. We label them as concepts wherever they appear on this site, and we'd ask you to do the same if you share one.

How long we keep things

Enquiries and their attachments stay in the owner's email while your enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it — just send an enquiry through the contact form and say so. We only email you about your own enquiry; we don't run a mailing list and won't add you to one.

Australian privacy law

As a small business, florascape isn't currently bound by the Australian Privacy Act's APP obligations, but we intend to handle your information as though we were — which is what this page describes. If that changes, this page changes with it.

Questions about any of this? Ask us — a real person reads it.
